- The "Cold Storage Construction and Acceptance Standard" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB51440-2021, and will be implemented from December 1, 2021. Among them, Articles 4.2.2, 4.3.3, 5.1.3 (4), 6.4.1, 6.6.3, 6.8.6, 7.1.6 (3) are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. This standard is published on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn), and is published by China Planning Publishing House Co., Ltd. organized by the Institute of Standards and Quotas of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Standard background: This standard was compiled by Huashang International Engineering Co., Ltd., integrating the latest practical experience at home and abroad, and is applicable to the construction of new food cold storage using refrigerants such as ammonia and carbon dioxide.

Key control points of construction
Vapor barrier construction
When using polyurethane cyanocondensate material, the moisture content of the base layer must be ≤8%, the brushing interval must be ≥12h, and the overlap width must be ≥80mm.
Refrigeration pipeline installation
Ammonia system welds must be 100% radiographically inspected, and the test pressure of the R404A system is increased to 2.9MPa (originally 2.5MPa).
Innovative technical terms
- Prefabricated cold storage: clarify the on-site assembly tolerance of metal-faced insulated sandwich panels (±1mm/10m)
- Anti-freeze floor: add new requirements for water pressure test of heating coils (1.5 times the working pressure for 2h)
- Safety protection: forced ammonia refrigeration system is equipped with an emergency spray device
